Cellar Museum Brumen

Cellar Museum Brumen

According to the year 1757 carved above the door, this cellar is at least 255 years old. A “cimprača” is a building constructed of wooden beams externally and internally plastered with clay. It has small windows and floors made of trampled clay, old brick and wooden boards. In 2011 the “cimprača” and the cellar were completely renovated.  There are numerous old artefacts exhibited in the “cimprača”. There is also a descendant of the world’s oldest vine “modra kavčina” from Lent in Maribor growing next to the house.
