10:00 – Velika Nedelja: castle history and sacred art
Upon arrival in Velika Nedelja, you are greeted by a local tourist guide. The majestic Velika Nedelja Castle, with its four towers, rises above the Drava Plain and attracts attention from afar.
A guided tour of the ethnological collection inside the castle follows, as well as a visit to the Holy Trinity Church, which tells the rich story of the area.

12:00 – Visit to the oil mill in Središče ob Dravi
Continue across the scenic plain to Središče ob Dravi, where you visit a local oil mill. While enjoying the aroma of freshly pressed oil, you’ll learn about the production process and taste local delicacies made from pumpkin oil and seeds.

13:30 – Jeruzalem: wine road and the Church of the Sorrowful Mother of God
Your journey continues along the Jeruzalem Wine Road, winding through vineyard-covered hills. You stop at the Church of the Sorrowful Mother of God, a stunning spiritual site with great beauty and historical value.

14:30 – Hearty Prlekija lunch
Round off the experience with a rich traditional lunch at a local farm: two soups, two kinds of meat, two side dishes, salad and dessert.

16:00 – Wine tasting among the vineyards
Finish your day at one of the wineries in the region, where you'll enjoy a tasting of fresh local wines and magnificent views of the surrounding hills.
